So, I may or may not be updating the website much soon because I'm working on a different project, as shown on the left. That's a teaser, and I'll quickly and briefly explain to you what it exactly is.
Me, Phoenixfury21 (a good friend of mine) and a few other people (also friends of mine, Phoenixfury21 and I are the head of the project all-together) are working on a huge Minecraft map that is revolving around a few unique gameplay styles, including survival, adventure, and a very nice story that unwraps itself as you progress through. Further information is private and I cannot *legally* give you any more information for the team's safety and copyright reasons. (its not copyrighted, still not giving you further information). I apologize for this inconvenience, but as I have said before, it is to remain private until its official release date. The date is still undecided as we do not have a deadline.
Our team has only slightly beta tested the map so we can get a better visualization of what the player thinks, not what we think. We've put in every little bit of detail. As I have quoted before when we were working on this map, "We're not like Forza Motorsport. We don't focus on just the main aspect of the game, we focus on the game as a whole. Every little aspect and detail of this map was thought through and nothing was forgotten." - By this I mean, we weren't like Forza Motorsport by focusing on everything. If there's any avid Forza Motorsport fan reading this, you may have noticed that the only part of the game that was really focused on was the cars. The world is nice, but the model is incomplete (unfinished textures) in the areas that you normally can't see unless you manage to glitch the game (referring to when you can see through a prop from an angle that was never meant to be looked at). The cars are complete and perfect, no missing textures, nothing. That's because the entire game is focused on that. Not on the world, not on the AI's. Almost every game is like that, and our team strives to avoid that as much as possible. We want a complete product that can be viewed from any angle and still be complete.
So, that's about it for now. When the map is finished, I'll put a world download link in this article as well as the Planet Minecraft page link. I'll ask Phoenixfury21 if I can maybe make a website directly into this article that gives you premium information about the map, such as where you should probably go, where all the good loot is, etc. So, if you're reading this, and you keep up with my news and download the map, you'll have access to premium facts about the map! Hooray!
